A FIVE-CHANNEL MULTIFUNCTION VERSATILE PC DIGITAL INSTRUMENT RELEASED BY CL SYSTEM.

A DIGITAL OSCILLOSCOPE IS NO LONGER CONFINED TO JUST DISPLAYING WAVEFORMS.  IT CAN NOW BE A MULTIFUNCTION INEXPENSIVE STANDARD PIECE OF TEST EQUIPMENT ALONGSIDE THE MULTIMETER.

--------------------------------

Introducing DSG04 (Digital Scope Generator Version 04), the latest in the range of multifunction PC digital instruments from CL System. DSG04 features a comprehensive list of test functions within a compact size. Five channels in total, consisting of two channels 12-bit 20Msps analogue capture, two channels 1-bit 20Msps digital capture, a single channel 12-bit programmable signal generator and a multifunction digital pulse and frequency counter.

In an almost pocketable, compact size of just 120mm X 65mm X 40mm (excluding connectors), engineers can now carry with them a host of measurement functions.

Ideal for capturing once-occurring events, the DSG04 samples at up to 20 Msps (millions samples per seconds) with a buffer size of 65,536 data points. It will generate sine, square and triangular signals in normal and sweep formats. The signal generator is programmable to generate any waveform and supports data input from Microsoft Excel. With both Scope and Signal Generator functions, the DSG04 becomes a versatile component tester. The built-in digital frequency counter measures to 100,000,000 Hz (100MHz) with 1 Hz resolution and the counter counts to over 9 digits or 1,000,000,000.

Waveform generation is easy. Just select type, style,  frequency and hit  'GO'.

Captured waveforms can be transferred to the generator, modified (cropped and amplified) and output – all easily carried out with just a few button presses.

DSG04 plugs straight into a PC printer port. A USB cable option is available for operation via USB ports.

Simple software with no pull down menus. Instead, all scope features are accessed via on screen front panel buttons. Comprehensive display view controls allow portions of data to be selected and viewed easily. Captured data points can be displayed as they are or joined.

Cursor measurements allow accurate readout of time, voltage and frequency values. Trigger level value is also visually displayed giving quick and accurate settings that can be adjusted in real time.

Captured data can be saved or exported to spreadsheets and included in reports or printed as displayed.

Scope profiles can be saved for quick recall as needed.
